1. Why do we read a book written in the 1920's?

2. What gives a book that is the longevity? 3. Which of your songs are eternal in the American psyche? It is a question for "The Great Gatsby." I was thinking that still read it because it has a lasting significance, but that sounds a bit x___x vague and some issues that came to mind are: a. Money can not buy happiness. b. You can not relive the past. Do they answer the third question? And are there other issues I'm missing? Please help and thanks in advance:)

You may want to add the themes to show that there is a decline of the American dream was not spending free and all that, but this will eventually lead to the Great Depression.
