Back in the market after 11 years!?

I have 27 years, and I'm finally back out after 11 years with a woman. Yes began as a teenager, and yes, loved her deeply. Sadly, adulthood has this funny way of undermining a person's happiness, so here I am. I put the past behind me and I'm ready to start looking again. What is the best advice for anyone, for all purposes, has never dated as an adult?
