Love Joy Happiness

Why is love (not sex) is not considered a primary emotion in psychology texts?
Most psychology texts I seen the 6 primary emotions and love (not sex drive) is not one of them, why? The six are: saddness (or depression), fear, anger, surprise, disgust and happiness or joy. Love is also confused with the sexual act in the west. Love actually there, see a mother with her baby while breastfeeding.
Love can make us feel all the feelings that are 6. I think love is different from lust or obsession. But these feelings can also enter two involved, and jealousy. But only a little. Love is when someone not only gets inside your heart and head, but also his soul. I think. I've never been in love, but I have loved you. You may not be listed because it is way too complicated. There are different forms of love. The love I feel for my mom is different than the love I feel for my boyfriend.
