I agree that humility is an essential quality. This does not mean self-denial or asceticism, but in my opinion. It means being willing to submit to others, to admit when wrong, to be open to new ideas from new people. This means that you do not believe you are the center of the world (which most people today). If more poor people now the world would be better.
